Our Senior Advisor and Founder, Till Gutzen, moderated a panel on “Private Equity – Current Trends” at the BAI Alternative Investor Conference 2026 in Frankfurt, joined by representatives from Ardian, Apollo, SwanCap Partners and Triton Partners.

The discussion covered key LP considerations, including exits and distributions, continuation vehicles, the fundraising divide, operational value creation, and the role of AI and software in private equity. A clear takeaway was that the market is becoming more selective, more operationally focused and increasingly driven by demonstrated cash returns.
