Axcel sells Lessor to US company Paychex

After 17 months’ ownership, Axcel has sold payroll specialist and HCM software Lessor to US company Paychex (Nasdaq: PAYX), a provider of integrated human capital management solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses.

Lessor provides services under two models – one a software-as-a-service (SaaS) payroll and HCM suite through its Lessor platform and Microsoft Dynamics, and the other a market-leading, do-it-yourself, cloud-based platform operating as Danløn in Denmark and under the following brands elsewhere in Northern Europe: Ilohngehalt (Germany), Norlønn (Norway), and Swelön (Sweden). Lessor is headquartered in Denmark and is currently doing business in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Germany.

Axcel IV completes exit of Nordic Waterproofing

Axcel IV and KIRKBI Invest have sold its remaining shares in Nordic Waterproofing, a leading provider in the waterproofing market in northern Europe, through an accelerated bookbuilding to Swedish and international institutional investors.

Nordic Waterproofing, in its current form, was established in 2011 by Axcel, by means of a merger of the Swedish and Danish waterproofing subsidiaries of Trelleborg AB’s and Lemminkäinen Oy’s roof installation businesses. The Company markets its products and solutions under nine brands, all with an extensive heritage, most of which are among the most established and well-recognized brands in waterproofing in their respective markets. Nordic Waterproofing is listed in the Mid Cap segment on Nasdaq Stockholm with the stock ticker NWG.

Axcel IV sells EXHAUSTO to French group Aldes

French family-owned ventilation group Aldes is buying EXHAUSTO from its owners Axcel and VKR Holding. 

EXHAUSTO is a leading producer of mechanical ventilation solutions for residential buildings, offices, schools and institutions, etc. and is the market leader in Denmark and Norway with growing positions in Germany and Sweden. In 2015, EXHAUSTO posted revenue of approx. DKK 470 million and had around 320 employees, of whom 200 were located in Langeskov on Funen.

Axcel IV sells Netel to IK Investment Partners

Axcel IV has sold Netel to IK Investment Partners. 

Netel builds and maintains physical infrastructure for both fixed and wireless communications. The company offers its customers complete solutions spanning project management, network planning, site acquisition, licensing, design, construction, installation, operation and maintenance. Netel currently has just over 340 employees at 25 offices in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltic states. In 2015, the company generated revenue of approx. SEK 1.5bn.
